- There are 16 Sanskar ,16 ways to enhance the power of a human, 16 ways to give chance of an evolution for a better human being ,described in shastras including "Suvarnprashan Sanskar " .
- A child is given avaleha ( semi liquid combination ) to lick it ,which is made from mainly Suvarna ( gold ) combined with other aushadhi, followed by Mantra chanting is called Suvarnaprashan Sanskar.
- Suvarnaprashan should be given daily empty stomach in the morning from Day 1 of a baby to 16 years of age.
